I typically draw portraits in Prismacolor colored pencils or graphite pencils using your close-up photographs. The quality of the finished product is directly related to the quality of the reference photographs.

Drawings are completed on Stonehenge paper and are sent to you without a mat or frame. It's risky to ship framed artwork. Besides, it's best if you are able to mat and frame the piece to suit yourself and your decor.

I will send you a digital image of the completed portrait for your approval. If everything is satisfactory, it will be shipped immediately.

It's best if you can take photographs in natural light (outdoors if possible) without a flash. Try to get clear photos with accurate color. Take the photographs as close as possible, and take extra close-ups of the face for detail. You may submit either prints or digital images. In all likelihood, I'll scan your prints anyway.

All photo prints will be returned along with the finished work.

Additional subjects, add $50.00 per pet/person, up to 11" x 14" portrait. 12" x 16" and larger, please add an additional $75.00 per subject.

I request a payment of 50% when you submit your order. Payment is due in full upon receipt of your completed commission.
